Here are a couple more ways to shower those around you with some love at the beginning of the school year. A sweet treat for your child's teacher, or the new students in your class would be to wish them a "Whopper of a good year!" We filled a mason jar with Whopper candies, tied some raffia ribbon to the top and included the adorable printable found for FREE below. Who wouldn't love to see this jar of sweetness on their desk on student orientation day or the first day of school. Obviously for younger students you might want to escort them in with a breakable jar, or just fill a cellophane bag or plastic container.
It's always been a tradition in our classroom to have a special snack prepared for our students the first day of school (just in case the morning rush didn't leave time for the packing of one). Fill a cellophane bag with some kid favorite Goldfish crackers and add the cute tag below to make it extra special to be at school. This would also be a cute addition to a new kindergartner's lunch on the first day!
Thanks for sharing this on Saturday Show and Tell. I hope you’ll be back again this week with some more great ideas!
