It's Not Just Child's Play

I find that there are few things more soothing to my soul than creating something. I like using the right side of my brain to really think about smaller pieces being put together. Then to form something that makes me smile when I look at it, is good for me. Creating is not just child's play though, and that's why Marcy and I are firm believers that crafty mama's create crafty children. Remember that being crafty doesn't mean that you roll out items that would pass Martha Stewart's standards, or that your house is neatly put together and full of creative touches. It just means that you are a home that welcomes exploring, making, sharing, communicating, and having fun. Don't we all want that for our children?

So it seemed like a natural fit when Ashley at Frugal Coupon Living asked us to guest post on her site weekly. She has A LOT (I mean tens of thousands) of resourceful mamas who follow her every penny saving move, and she thought they would like some ways to make their homes more creative places. We've been focusing on "grown up" projects so far, but there is always a tie into educating young-ins too!

We've really enjoyed sharing our crafty side with others, and we hope that you will find some time to nurture your inner or outer creativity. Remember it's good for the soul!
